Flos
In 1962 Flos was founded by Dino Gavina and Cesare Cassina in Merano Italy with the production of classic lamps, some of these models are still produced to this day.
The company's headquarters are today in Bovezzo, Italy. Flos produces a large selection of floor lamps, table lamps, wall lamps, pendant lamps and outdoor lamps for both private and business.
From the beginning, Flos has been characterized by a very high quality approach to lamp, design and production.
Many of their large back catalog of lamps designed for the company, first by Achille Castiglioni and his brother Piergiacomo Castiglioni, are arguably some of the best known and most successful products in industrial design.
Luxo
The story of Luxo and individual lighting began in 1937 with the work lamp L-1. L-1 meant that light could be moved around freely and placed where needed. It forever changed the way you use work lights.
